God, are you here?
You are the child in a manger. Yes.
And
You are the glimmer of stars in a black sky.
You are the solar system, and gravity, and air to breathe.
You are the delicate snowflake floating, falling, somewhere colder.
You are rustle of leaves, crisp Arizona morning chill.
You ARE.
You are 5G, satellite signals, electricity in the plug on my wall.
You are the friend miles away speaking love through my phone.
You are the hearing in my ear, the vision in my eyes.
You are the warmth of a hug, the purr of a cat, the dog’s wag.
You are the baby’s coo.
You are the gentle hand under an unsteady old lady’s elbow.
You are the colors in the rainbow, the crackle of a fire.
You are sunrise and sunset, and the shaft of light breaking through clouds.
You are steam rising from my coffee cup.
You are.
You are present every moment.
And I’m present to your presence.
